“The mattress was outstanding, the room was generally clean. Flooring needs help, and doesn’t seem solid, lock on sliding glass door was inoperable. Furniture was dated but quaint. Overall, it was what I expected, not bad, not great,”

“The casa itself was interesting and clean, fun to stay in. Breakfast was enjoyable; presentaton was simple. We would make one suggestion: knowing limited huoman resources and water etc., some extra attention to the grounds would go a long ways to a welcoming and hanging-out atmosphere. Oh, one other thing we noticed that could be improved--depending on water pressure--the shower head in the Luminaria room (where we loved the patio door windowsi) provided very small spray,”

“Decisamente il peggior hotel americano dove abbia mai messo piede. All'arrivo (mezzanotte e mezzo ora locale, distrutto dal jet lag), non riuscivano a farmi il check-in perché non avevo una ID Card americana: ho dovuto insistere e ricordare che avevo già pagato il soggiorno per riuscire a farmi dare, dopo 15 minuti, la chiave... Poi, mi viene detto che per i 5 giorni del mio soggiorno non verrà assolutamente fatto nulla in camera: passi per gli asciugamani, il cui cambio quotidiano è un'offesa...

“The threat of flash floods colored our stay. Waiting for river to subside before we could get home to roads that required 4wd didnt add to the experience. The house had lots of nice points, like quiet, quaint decor, and comfortable. But it has a touch of unfinished project,the front door required kicking to open( really wet caused swelling). Water coming in bedroom causing large puddles because of door gap. The host was very helpful and happily answered our requests.”

“A very nice cabin in a secluded woodsy location. We wish we could have been outside more and stargazed but it was rainy and cloudy. Even with that the cabin is a nice comfortable place to spend a night. Be sure to brush up on your fire starting skills as during cooler weather the wood stove is the main heat source.”

“Hidden Gem! We had no idea this property was in Ojo Caliente. Beautiful views, gorgeous rooms and a wonderful restaurant connected. Booking was simple as well as check in and the hosts both online at at the restaurant are wonderful. Cant wait to come back!”

“The area and the house itself were wonderful. El Rito is very small but a nice starting point for wonderful day trips. If you don't feel like driving the house itself is on a wonderful property and a place of relaxation and creativity.Love to come back one day”
